It
all started with an allergy from
touching wool. Barney
loved wool
sweaters, and I couldn't knit him a single wool sweater,
because of
my allergy to wool. That's when we found out what
an alpaca
was. We were excited not only about being able to touch
their fiber,
but how soft and beautiful it was.
Since we fell in love with the alpaca's
friendly disposition and relaxing
lifestyle,
we made plans to own our own alpaca ranch. Our new
home is one mile
outside of Beaver on nine acres of beautiful farm
land, and we
have fun watching our animals out our back door.
Both of us being elementary teachers near
retirement, have this
exciting and
fun occupation to look forward too full time. We will
never stop
teaching, because we have so many interesting things to
learn and share
about our alpacas.
We give workshops on hat felting, and hoop
knit hats. When we
learn more
crafts, we will offer more workshops.
We give ranch tours by request and have a
ranch store with fiber and
related fiber
products, such as; sweaters, toys, yarn, roving, batting,
hats, and
mittens.
We offer financing, package deals, breeding,
boarding, and training, of
purchases. We love our alpacas and love sharing what
we know with
everybody. Anything we don't know we will research
to find the
answer. We want you to be successful. Since we
are a small operation, we can give assistance and advice long after a
sale.
Come on in and visit
our store.
